Leve Fredag: A new nightclub concept in Stockholm

Stockholms most important cultural institution Kulturhuset - The House of Culture Stockholm, approached us with a problem: They were failing to connect with the young night time culture, despite its location bang in the centre of down town Stockholm.

Kulturhuset describes itself as: the cultural space for all people of Stockholm, and this became somewhat of a mantra for our nightclub Leve Fredag. We wanted to be all-inclusive, no VIP, no guest lists and affordable prices. As apposed to the dominant night time district Stureplan, just a few minutes away, which is all about being 'VIP' and exclusivity...  

We also wanted to focus on Swedish Underground DJ talent, in the day of peak Swedish House Mafia hysteria... some people would've called us crazy. But it worked, young people of Stockholm didn't let us down and our 10 events with bookings like La Fleur, Studio Barnhus, Ozgur Can, Sono Unica and many more, were a great time.
